Rotherham

Completed: January, 1970

Service: Architecture

Sector: Residential

Client: Jaguar Residential

Scale: 5 apartments & 6 houses

Self have designed and delivered this scheme on Moorgate Road consisting of the conversion of offices to apartments and the construction of 6 houses. This scheme saw Fairfield House, a substantial 19th Century detached building, into five impressive two-bedroom apartments utilising the generous rooms. There is a large garden to the front with car parking and a secluded rear garden. The large detached 4-bedroom houses, all have 1 or 2 car garages and are on the side road, Heather Close, behind, and opposite Fairfield House. The two-house types use the same façade language of a ground floor bay window, grey window frames and slate roofs, with variation added in the use of two brick types.
