Self’s design transforms this iconic boiler house into flexible administrative accommodation for the hospital. The £3 million scheme involves the insertion of a 1st floor, which overlooks the new 3 storey entrance of a contemporary glazed box addition. Large glazed elements were added to the front and gable end, with inset dormers cut into the large roof.
