The site is divided into 3 parts—Sites A and B, totalling 175 No. dwellings for open market sale, and Site C— 14 no. dwellings for Wakefield District Housing Association. The houses are designed to reflect the local vernacular, which is predominantly Victorian terraced streets. Brick is the main facing material, with pitched tiled roofs and dormer windows. The layout includes a ‘village square’ which creates a sense of place at the heart of the development. A back-drop of 3 storey terraced houses frames the space.
